On the 2nd of April 2022 we published on this site that President of SAFA Tshwane, Mr. Solly Mohlabeng received a letter of suspension from SAFA. View this communication here.
We also mentioned that a response would be sent back to SAFA in that regard. We would like to confirm that a response has been sent to SAFA and now await their response.
We still maintain that both the Congress and the NEC have no jurisdiction to suspend nor displine Mr. Mohlabeng. He is not a member of any of their structure. But the response to SAFA expands on this and demands that SAFA correct the matter.
On a related development, SAFA has also issued out a notice of the elective Congress to take place on the 25th of June 2022.
Of course Mr. Mohlabeng is available for these elections. But first things first.
